MISSION

Helping Americans Become Better Friends & Neighbors

We live in a time when many people feel disconnected — from themselves and from other people. Activate Your Strength® exists to help you reconnect with yourself, build healthier friendships, and find a greater sense of purpose and belonging within your community.

Hello Friend!
I'm Anne Kubitsky

I'm the Founder & Owner of Activate Your Strength, LLC.

After meeting Mister Rogers at the age of five, I have devoted my life to helping children and adults become better friends and neighbors. For the last fifteen years, my programming has helped over 700,000 children learn friendship skills through the nonprofit organization Look for the Good Project.

Over the years, I became fascinated by post-traumatic growth and the role relationships play in helping people heal and thrive. Activate Your Strength® grew out of my personal and professional research on this subject.

In our increasingly divided and disconnected world, I believe that comforting friendships and supportive neighbors matter more than ever. I hope this website helps you become a better friend to yourself... and a good friend and neighbor to others.

My Work Was Featured In Friends & Neighbors!

Guided by Fred Rogers’ call to “look for the helpers," former MTV News and Facebook executive Benjamin Wagner (Mister Rogers & Me) explores how chronic stress and trauma shape American life, weaving his own story with those of experts and neighbors to reveal how healing and connection remain possible even in the most anxious communities.

In Friends & Neighbors, Wagner tells an intimate yet widely shared story, tracing his own journey through a high-pressure career, personal loss, and recovery while connecting these experiences to the deeper ways stress and trauma shape the body, the brain, and our relationships.
